محاسبه ضخامت و عمق لایه به کمک تصویرگری استریوگرافی

Abstract:Calculation of thickness and depth using stereographic techniques are addressed in this paper.The real thickness of a  layer is perpendicular distance between top and bottom of the layer which can be measured in a section  perpendicular to strike of layring .The depth of layering is vertical distance between a arbitrary point on  the ground surface  and top of the layer.In this method geologist takes ordinary data from the filed or map, then he calculates D using stereographic techniques.Angle of D is between  line of measuremant and a line which is prependicular to layering plane. Line of measurement is a line which goelogist paces it in space when he wants to do measurment .To calculation the following aquation can be written.                                                                                 

                              Thickess t=L.cos                                                                                                                                                                          where:       t=thickness   L = Lenght of measurment D= angle between line of measurement and a line which is prependicular to layering  plane

                               Depth                                              d=s.cos /cosg            

   where:      d= depth    S= Lenght of measurent    g=dip of layering

D= angle between line of measurement and a line which is prependicular to layering plane
