The meeting of JSC representatives from Rosgelogia Holding of Russia and the director and experts of National Geoscience Database of Iran (NGDIR) from the Geological Survey of Iran was held as a webinar in order to answer the questions raised for the Russian side about one of the issues of the agreement between Iran and Russia to prepare geological maps in the scale of 1:50000, i.e., database at the international affairs department of the organization.
A bilateral memorandum of understanding between the Geological Survey of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Vienna-Austria Museum of Natural History was signed by the efforts of the International Affairs Department of GSI this morning.

The meeting of the representatives from JSC, Rosgelogia Holding in Russia and the Geological Survey of Iran, IMIDRO and Deputy of Exploration of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade is taking place in order to study how to train the geological mapping at the scale of 1:50000 in Iran.
Following the holding of the Joint Economic Commission of Iran and Zimbabwe, the cooperation of the two countries in applied geology, exploration, mining and personnel training projects will be strengthened.
