Abstract:
      The studied area is located in 80km west of Farsan (Chaharmohal-e-Bakbtiari). This area is considered geologically as a part of high Zagros. The oldest evaporates sediments that are exposed in Bazoft valley are overlain by Ilbak, Zardkoh, Faraghan and Dalon Formations respectively. Faraghan Formation is divided to two chalisheh and Zakin members. Zakin member contains of Sigillaria persica. Four biozone are recognized in Dalan Formation. These biozones are Eopolydiexodina, Schubertella zone, Afghanella Sheneki zone and Verbeekina Verbeekina zone respectively.
