       Abstract:
Atashgah spring is the biggest spring in the south limb of Rig anticline. Mean discharge of spring is about 1000 lit/s, although the mean discharge are relatively high but the fluctuations in it are relatively low and the fluctuations in temperature, EC and major ions of spring are low too. All of above data show that the main part of the spring water is drained from the narrow fissures. The response of the spring to two rainfall that are equal in duration and intensity, but are different in date, is not same and it is because of the subcutaneous zone is empty in the start of wet season and existence of a huge resource of snow in the end of wet season.

       General:
Atashgah spring is the biggest spring in the south limb of Rig anticline. Mean discharge of spring is about 1000 lit/s, although the mean discharge are relaltively high but the fluctuations in it are relatively low and the fluctuations in temperature, EC and major ions of spring are low too. All of above data show that the main part of the spring water is drained from the narrow fissures. The response of the spring to two rainfall that are equal in duration and intensity, but are different in data, is not same and it is because of the subcutaneous zone is empty in the start of wet season and existence of a huge resource of snow in the end of wet season.
