    Abstract:
          The Aliabad area, at about 4 kilometers northwest of the Manjil city, is generally considered as part of Alborz-Azarbaijan structural zone and have been formed by a succession of sedimentary and igneous rocks. The microscopic examination of the present igneous rocks show that they have generally andesitic and trachi-andesitic compositions and have suffered a potasic, propilitic and cloritic alterations. According to the results of present study the significant minerals in these rocks are Chalcopyirte, Pyrite, Natural cupper and Himatite. These minerals have been formed in two successive mineralization phases.
