Test planispirally coiled and involute, some-what flattened, numerous broad and low chambers per whorl, whorls increasing rapidly in height, sutures nearly radial, periphery broadly rounded; wall agglutinated, with very thin imperforate outer layer and prominent thick alveolar subepidermal meshwork of a thickness exceeding that of the chamber lumen; aperture an interiomarginal equatorial slit and a series of round pores with elevated rims scattered over the face. Paleocene to Holocene; cosmopolitan.
