Pumice and pumice are with siliceous vitrites with light color. As it is said before, distinction face of perlite to other volcanic rocks are vitric in its volume increase against to temperature increase. In temperature about 850 C and upper, perlite grains are such as grains and they are dehydrated and fine bulbs are just like glass which is soft and they are named baked perlite.
