The application of remote sensing technology in ground water studies have came about three decades ago. One of the most useful methods in investigations is Comprehensive analysis of lineaments from landsat data, which is related to investigation of lithotogy and structural froms and hydrogeological conditions.
In arid and Semi-arid areas which have well defined dry and humid plant covering in dry seasons is often seen in crashed zones that is possible to have access to ground water.
In this Investigation, In order to prepare the lineaments, plant covering and geological different karstic formations maps, of Acepas and Bakan plains, digital data from landsat satellite TM5 was used. The inforration’s extracted from satellite data together with other informatior ‘s from another references such geological and topographic maps interred to data base GIs and Hydrogeomor pholagical feature of the varius formations in the study area hava Compared statistically.
