Research council consist of :

Dean of the research institute

Deputy of the research Institute.

Three to seven faculty members of research institute

 In 1995 research institute began its activities by admission of 5 students in tectonic filed

And in the following years majors of petrology stratigraphy paleontology and economic geology offered to students. The number of admitted students have been so far one hundred and twenty of which sixty seven have been graduated and forty eight are studying and five have abundant.
